1. Fixed-beat automatic production line

The fixed tempo refers to the production tempo of all the unit equipment in the automatic line equal to or twice the production tempo of the automatic line. In this type of automatic line, there is no storage device between the processes. The machine tools are arranged in sequence according to the technological order of the workpieces. The workpieces are forced to follow a fixed route from one station to the next station along a fixed route by the conveyor device strictly according to the production cycle of the production line, until processing complete.

2. Non-fixed beat automatic production line

The non-fixed-beat automatic production line refers to the different working tempo of each equipment in the automatic assembly line, and the working cycle of each equipment is the actual time required to complete its own process.

The benefits of using a non-fixed cycle automated production line (1) lower direct labor participation; (2) lower product cost, because the fixed cost of equipment is shared by a large number of products; (3) higher productivity; (4) The manufacturing lead time (the time from the start of production to the completion of the finished product) is the shortest, and the number of products in progress is the smallest; (5) The factory has the smallest footprint.
